Prime Minister Narendra Modi today launched the Prime Minister's Kisan Man Dhan Yojana in Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand, as part of another attempt to secure the lives of farmers.
scheme will make their lives safer by providing a minimum pension of Rs.3000 per month to 5 crore small and marginal farmers over the age of 60 years.e
Prime Minister also launched a national pension scheme for businessmen and self-employed persons.

The Prime Minister said that the election promise that a strong government will meet your expectations has been fulfilled.
The Prime Minister stated, “I said that after the formation of a new government, every farmer family in the country will get the benefit of the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi. Today, more than 21,000 crores have been deposited in the accounts of over 6 crore farmers families in the country. There are 8 lakh farmer families in Jharkhand, whose account has been deposited Rs 8 crores. ”
He said, “The government is becoming humbled by the people who need it the most. Since March this year, such a pension scheme has been launched for millions of unorganized sector workers in the country. ”The Prime Minister further said,“ More than 32 lakh workers have joined the labor-intensive scheme More than 22 million people have joined the Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Yojana and the Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, of which more than 30 lakh beneficiaries are from Jharkhand alone. In addition, under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana, about 44 lakh poor patients have benefited, out of which 3 lakh are from Jharkhand. ”
As part of empowering all people, the Prime Minister today started 462 Avalanche Model Schools in tribal majority areas across the country. These schools will focus on providing quality education to the upper primary, secondary and upper secondary level students of the Scheduled Tribe in these areas.
The Prime Minister said, "These unlocking schools will not only serve as a medium of education for tribal children, but will also provide sports and skill development facilities, including protection of local arts and culture." In these schools, the government will spend over one lakh rupees per tribal child. ”C
