Now If The Shopkeeper Wants Money For A Bag, Don't Give It, Know The New Law

The Modi Government Has Given Many Rights To The Consumers Of The Country From Today. The Consumer Protection Act 2019 Has Come Into Force Across The Country From Today. The New Consumer Protection Act Of 1986 Will Replace. Approximately 34 Years Later, A New Consumer Protection Law Has Been Enacted In The Country.

Under The New Law, Consumers Can File A Case In Any Consumer Court In The Country. Along With This, Provision Has Been Made For Both Fine And Punishment For Misleading Advertisement. With This, Restrictions Have Been Tightened On Shopkeepers. Under The New Law, If A Shopkeeper Charges A Carry Bag And A Customer Complains, He Will Be Prosecuted. Carrying Extra Money For Carry Bags Has Become Punishable Under The New Law.

The Shopkeeper Cannot Take The Money Of The Carry Bag

Now If Any Customer Demands A Carry Bag After Buying The Goods, He Will Not Have To Pay For It. The Other Thing Is That If The Customer Is Not Able To Carry The Goods In Hand Then The Shopkeeper Has To Carry A Carry Bag.

The Issue Was Being Complained About In Many Consumer Forums In The Country, After Which The Consumer Forum Started Imposing Fines On The Store Or Shopkeeper For Taking Money From Carry Bags. Now There Is A Strict Provision To Take It In The New Law.

The New Law Will Take Charge Of Carry Bags

If You Now Have Rs 5, Rs 10, Rs 20 Taken In The Name Of Carry Bag, Penalty Has Been Provided In Return. At The Same Time, There Are Many Other Special Things In The New Law. In Which Consumers Will Now Have The Right To File A Case In Any Consumer Court Of The Country.

The Previous Consumer Protection Act Of 1986 Did Not Have Such A Provision. One Of The Most Important Things In The New Law Is That Now Consumers Will Also Be Exempted From Misleading Advertising. If A Product Is Promoted By A Film Star Or A Cricketer And The Product Goes Wrong, Then The Celebrity Will Also Be Punished.

Misleading Advertising Will Also Take A Rock

Cricketers And Film Personalities Will Now Be Required To Determine The Reliability Of Any Product Before Announcing It. So Now Be It A Big Cricketer Star Or A Movie Star Or Any Other Artist Or Any Other Celebrity Beware If Something Is Advertised. It Is The Responsibility Of The Celebrity To Check The Claims Made In The Advertisement Before Making The Announcement. According To The New Law, Any Misinformation Related To The Product Can Get The Celebrity In Trouble.
