Kisan Sahay Suryodaya Yojana, farmers of which three districts of the state will get electricity during the day
The state government has announced Kisan Suryodaya Yojana to provide electricity to the farmers of the state on a daily basis. At the initial stage, electricity will be provided to 1055 villages of Junagadh, Gir Somnath and Dahod districts. The inauguration will be held on the 24th at the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The scheme will be launched in 220 villages of Junagadh district, 143 villages of Gir Somnath district and 692 villages of Dahod district. The state government has set a target of providing electricity to all farmers on a daily basis in the next two and a half years. 17 lakh 25 thousand farmers with electricity connection for farming will benefit.

These facilities will be provided at a cost of Rs 3.5 crore. At present 6000 to 6500 mega electricity is available, now 11000 mega electricity will be available. Everyone will benefit in the next 2 years. Electricity will be provided from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.
