The Gujarat Government Has Implemented Divyang Lagna Sahay Yojana Across The State Out Of Concern For Divyang People. The Department Of Social Justice And Empowerment Is Committed To Providing Financial Assistance To A Disabled Couple In The Community. In Gir Somnath District Also, Divyang Marriage Assistance Scheme Will Be Implemented And Financial Assistance Will Be Given To Divyang Couple. Under This Scheme, 8 Beneficiaries In Gir Somnath District Will Be Given Rs. 11.50 Lakh Assistance Has Been Paid. This Was Stated By District Social Security Officer Hansaben Wala.

 

Divyang Lagn Sahay Yojana Has Been Implemented By The Department Of Social Justice And Empowerment, Government Of Gujarat. The Age Should Be 18 Years Or More For Women And 21 Years Or More For Men. A Person With More Than 90% Disability Will Be Eligible For The Benefits Of These Schemes. The Marriage Must Be Registered At The Same Time. There Is No Income Limit In This Scheme. All Persons With Disabilities Are Eligible For The Benefit Of This Scheme.

 

In Case Of Marriage Between A Crippled Person And A Crippled Person, The Couple Has To Pay A Total Of Rs. 1 Lakh Financial Assistance Is Available. As Well As In Case Of Marriage Between A Disabled Person And A Normal Person, The Couple Has To Pay Rs. 20 Thousand Financial Assistance Will Be Given. The Benefit Of Divyang Lagna Sahay Yojana Is Also Available To More Than 90% Divyang Couples Of Gir Somnath District.
